The room had clean linens, which added some comfort to my stay. The location is prime for exploring the nearby attractions, making it easy to hit the road for a day of adventure.

Unfortunately, during my night here, I encountered three bugs, which is a big no-go for me. The sheets had noticeable stains and the sound isolation was lacking, leading to a less-than-ideal night's sleep. The sink showed signs of age with some rust, and even though they offered breakfast, it was quite limited, making it feel more like an afterthought than a perk. For $150 a night, I expected a bit more, especially considering the carpet was not well-vacuumed and overall, cleanliness could have been better.

We enjoyed our stay at this spot, especially the friendly staff who made sure we all felt welcome. It was great being so close to The State Theatre, which provided some lovely entertainment options for my four teenagers. The spacious room was a hit with everyone.

My kids wished the pool was open during our stay. It would have been an excellent way for them to unwind after hours on the road.
